Finding your ring size – for the Perfect fitRing
Sizing Helpful Hints:
1. The average ring size for women is approximately a size 6.
The average ring size for men is approximately 10.
2. Your ring finger on your dominant hand will generally be
approximately half a size larger than the same finger on you
other hand.
3. If you are considering a wide band, it is recommended to
order one size larger than you would wear in a thin band.
4. If your knuckle is bigger than the base of your finger?
Measure at both your knuckle and at the base of your finger.
Select a size that falls mid-range between the two. (Example:
base of finger = 6-1/, knuckle = 7-1/2; mid-range = 7)
Ring Sizing:
There are different ways in which you can determine ring size.
Here are the most common used. Both are very easy. Remember, we
are here to help you.
1. - If shopping for yourself or someone else, place a ring that
fits (you or him/her) over the series of circles below, making
sure the inside of the ring lines up with the outside edge of
the circle. If you find that the ring is in between sizes, the
best advice is to order the larger size.
2 Make your very own ring sizer following the instructions
below. What you need is paper or string and pen.
1. Using a piece of nonetchy string that is approximately
6 inches long or a piece of paper of the same length and
approximately 1/4 inch wide, wrap it around the base of your
finger.
2. With your pen, mark a line at the point on the string or
paper where the ends meet, forming a complete circle.
3. Place your string or paper next to the sizing lines below and
compare the lengths in order to determine your ring size. If you
are between two sizes, we recommend that you order the larger
size.
Don't Know His / Her Ring Size?
If the ring is intended as a surprise and you don’t know her
ring size? Here are a few helpful tips to try.
1. Discreetly ask one of his/her friends or family members if
they know the ring size.
2. Secretly borrow one of the rings you have noticed him/her
wearing on the appropriate finger and use the tip #1 to find the
ring size.
